Carlos Rincon is president and co-founder of Prestige International Pictures, a worldwide film sales, production, finance and distribution company. Rincon is a highly regarded sales and acquisitions executive known for his rapport with filmmakers and buyers as well as for his deep understanding of film as both art and commerce. Over the years, he has been involved with over 150 films which have been released by distributors such as Lionsgate, Paramount Pictures, MGM, HBO, Hulu, Netflix, Starz, Roadside Attractions, IFC Films, Magnolia Pictures, Saban Entertainment, Vertical, Shout! Factory, and Well Go to name a select few. Rincon regularly attends film festivals and markets such as Cannes, Berlin/EFM, Toronto/TIFF, AFM, Sundance, SXSW where he identifies films, screens them, and works in tandem with his sales team to determine a project's domestic and international value.
Previously, Rincon was an acquisitions, sales and development executive at Premiere Entertainment Group (PEG) where he has served as executive producer on THE COMMANDO starring Mickey Rourke and Michael Jai White, LOCKED IN starring Mena Suvari, NIGHT OF THE SICARIO starring Natasha Henstridge, BLOWBACK starring Randy Couture and Cam Gigandet, BLACK WARRANT starring Tom Berenger, SHRAPNEL starring Jason Patric, and RUTHLESS starring Dermot Mulroney. Prior to joining PEG, Rincon was the Head of Acquisitions and U.S. Sales at Spotlight Pictures. During his tenure with Spotlight, he acquired films that starred award-winning actors such as Jessica Chastain, Dakota Johnson, Glen Powell, Jean Reno, Katie Holmes, Jason Schwartzman, Rosamund Pike, William H. Macy, Mila Kunis, Bill Paxton, and William Hurt. Focusing on long-term relationships, Rincon has worked with the multi-talented actor and filmmaker James Franco's production company Rabbit Bandini on the distribution of five films. Rincon is a graduate of the Los Angeles Film School.
