I'm Lau Puong Yuong, also known as Ben Lau, a alumnus of the Department of Film and Television at I-Shou University in Taiwan. My professional journey has led me to specialize as a Gaffer, a role I passionately fulfill in various productions including feature films, short films, and commercials. Over the course of my seven-year career in lighting, I've had the privilege of contributing to numerous significant projects, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities. My unwavering commitment has always been to harness the transformative power of lighting to craft exceptional visual narratives that captivate audiences. Throughout my career, I've dedicated myself to mastering the intricate art of lighting design, continuously refining my skills to create atmospheres that enhance storytelling and evoke emotions. My experience spans a diverse range of productions, allowing me to develop a versatile approach to lighting that adapts to different genres and styles. Having recently returned to my home state of Sarawak, I'm filled with enthusiasm about the prospect of applying my expertise and creative vision to elevate the local film and television industry. I'm eager to collaborate with fellow professionals, share my knowledge, and contribute to the growth of Sarawak's vibrant media landscape.
